Once upon a time in a far away, enchanted forest, there lived a king who loved to eat truffles. He ate them after dinner, and loved to share them with his guests. Each day, the royal chef would search for truffles in the forest. But one day, the royal chef searched high and low, but alas, there were none to be found. Knowing the king would be disappointed, the chef decided to improvise. Gathering the finest chocolate, butter, and cream to be found in the realm, the chef began to experiment. The chef mixed and whipped and cooked until at long last, a chocolate truffle was created, so rich and creamy it made ones hair stand on end.

But would it fool the king?

That evening, the royal chef sent the king the chocolate truffles and waited. Quickly the king summoned the chef. He liked the new truffles, and soon the royal chef was making many varieties, filled with the most exotic and wonderful ingredients found in the kingdom.
